BUTCHER: New Action Movie 2025 | Jason Statham

Jason Statham stars as Jack “Butcher” Sullivan, a former black-ops specialist who has retired to a quiet life as a butcher in a small European town. However, when a ruthless cartel led by Viktor Kravchenko (Mads Mikkelsen) massacres his closest friend for refusing to pay protection money, Jack is forced back into action.

Using his lethal hand-to-hand combat skills and military training, Jack methodically hunts down the cartel’s enforcers, leaving a trail of destruction across the continent. Along the way, he teams up with a relentless Interpol agent, Olivia Kane (Jessica Chastain), who is torn between arresting him and letting him dismantle the cartel from within.

As Jack closes in on Viktor, he uncovers a deeper conspiracy—his former government handlers were funding the cartel to control the region’s arms trade. Betrayed by his own country, Jack must take on both the cartel and the agency that once employed him.

In the explosive finale, Jack faces Viktor in a brutal knife fight inside a burning warehouse. Despite being wounded, Jack kills Viktor and escapes before the authorities arrive. He disappears into the shadows, leaving only a chilling message: “I was never just a butcher.”

Spending Budget & Release Date

With a projected $80–100 million budget, BUTCHER will feature high-octane action sequences, including intense car chases, brutal hand-to-hand combat, and globe-spanning locations. The film is backed by Lionsgate and directed by Chad Stahelski (John Wick). A September 2025 release date is planned, targeting fall audiences looking for a gritty action thriller.

Success Story & Box Office Potential

Given Statham’s box office dominance, BUTCHER is expected to earn between $350–450 million worldwide, drawing comparisons to The Equalizer and John Wick. If successful, a sequel could expand Jack Sullivan’s story, making him one of the most formidable action anti-heroes of the decade.
